I will try and keep upto date on all Notts County news , on and off the pitch aswell as adding pictures and videos from this season.

Hopefully this year won't be as depressing as the last - where the Magpies escaped the drop by 6 points.

Manager Charlie McParland has had to clear the deadwood (once again) and re-build a squad which should be challenging for the Playoffs.

My personal prediction is a respectable mid table finish.

Third Signing and more rumours...

Charlie has signed a third new player for the coming season. Adam Nowland , an attacking midfielder who left Preston North End in Jan.

It gives the Magpies another option in the centre of midfield. We now have Butcher , Smith , Strachan , MacKenzie and of course Nowland.

On the left hand side of midfield we have the mazy runs of Myles Weston , whilst Charlie is looking for a right midfielder in the form of Matty Hamshaw (who still hasn't decided).

The Gaffer is also reportedly looking at Cheltenham left winger Ashley Vincent for cover for injury prone Myles.

So potential coming signings are Vincent , Hamshaw , Walker and a full-back. Its all gone quiet on the goalkeeping front - Russell Hoult. Maybe he will become goalkeeping coach ?
