I will try and keep upto date on all Notts County news , on and off the pitch aswell as adding pictures and videos from this season.

Hopefully this year won't be as depressing as the last - where the Magpies escaped the drop by 6 points.

Manager Charlie McParland has had to clear the deadwood (once again) and re-build a squad which should be challenging for the Playoffs.

My personal prediction is a respectable mid table finish.

Pest Control + Hunt injured + Beardo signs and Countdown MacKenzie !

It was a very busy news-wise on Friday with the Magpies announcing a Record deal for Shirt sponsorship. This year will see two different sponsors, one on the home and one on the away kits. Forward Pest Control is the main sponsor on the traditional black and whites , while Marston's Beer Company will be on the rather wierd , half purple , half sky blue shirt. The kits haven't had a great response on the messageboard and I'm not too keen (yet). Maybe after a few friendlies my mind will change.



The first bad news of the Summer was also announced at Meadow Lane , Left back Stephen Hunt will miss the start of the season as he has to have an operation as he was diagnosed with "Adductor Tendinopathy."

Charlie has however signed a sixth player - Jason Beardsley (on loan) for 3 months initially. The defender can play both right and left back and will put pressure of first team player Paul Mayo and Adam Tann.

Countdown MacKenzie won his fifth match in a row and now has his sights on becoming a Octochamp to reach the finals. Good Luck Neil !
