Two very late goals wasnt enough to beat the local rivals in the final friendly of pre-season. First Jamie Forrester and then Ben Fairclough scored in the final minutes to setup a tense few seconds.
Forest were on top of much of the game with Earnshaw being in fine form infront of goal , scoring a brace.
County also included one trialist John Curtis , who came on for the final twenty minutes. The Magpies still looked weak upfront and hopefully Charlie will be signing a target man this week.
Notts now face Bradford in a weeks time.
Welcome ....
I will try and keep upto date on all Notts County news , on and off the pitch aswell as adding pictures and videos from this season.
Hopefully this year won't be as depressing as the last - where the Magpies escaped the drop by 6 points.
Manager Charlie McParland has had to clear the deadwood (once again) and re-build a squad which should be challenging for the Playoffs.
My personal prediction is a respectable mid table finish.
Also look out for my articles in the Notts County Matchday Programme !
