I will try and keep upto date on all Notts County news , on and off the pitch aswell as adding pictures and videos from this season.

Hopefully this year won't be as depressing as the last - where the Magpies escaped the drop by 6 points.

Manager Charlie McParland has had to clear the deadwood (once again) and re-build a squad which should be challenging for the Playoffs.

My personal prediction is a respectable mid table finish.

I've been away and I have missed...

two Draws and that Notts are out of two competitions.

After beating Doncaster in the Carling Cup the Magpies were handed a game at the JJB against Premiership Wigan. Unfortantely Wigan romped to victory , thrashing Notts 4-0.

Notts had to re-group from their disappointment and faced moneybags Shrewsbury. Notts took the lead twice from Edwards and Butch , but Paul Simpson's troops snatched a point in the final minutes. This would be a familiar trend.

Notts conceded twice in the last minute in the Paint Trophy against Scunny , again with Butch scoring (his third of the season) in the 2-1 loss.

And finally Notts couldn't hold the lead against Bournemouth. Jamie Forrester sublime volley put Notts ahead but 7 minutes later the Cherries equalised and took a draw.

Well not much has changed , Notts are still 15th , without a win in the league and still playing attractive football. Can Notts change all that with an away win against Stanley today ? My prediction 1-0 Butcher.
