I managed to catch the highlights of the goals yesterday on the Championship and I was shocked in some of Notts poor marking. Exeter's first was simple. No midfield or defender tracking the run of Matty Gill and he simply put it in the net. Their second was similiar with unmarked players. Notts must learn quickly to keep a clean sheet (just like they did in the later stages of last season).
The Greacians marking was equally poor with Johno scoring with a free header and then Hamshaw's shot could only be parried to Sean Canham who scored his second goal of the season.
The game on Saturday is vital. Notts desperately need a victory. If the Magpies can claim the points then the start of the season will be looking a lot brighter and the confidence will ooze out.
