Welcome ....

I will try and keep upto date on all Notts County news , on and off the pitch aswell as adding pictures and videos from this season.

Hopefully this year won't be as depressing as the last - where the Magpies escaped the drop by 6 points.

Manager Charlie McParland has had to clear the deadwood (once again) and re-build a squad which should be challenging for the Playoffs.

My personal prediction is a respectable mid table finish.

Also look out for my articles in the Notts County Matchday Programme !

Notts 0 Wycome 2

Well I didn't expect too much from this game. Notts are still missing our best creative players (Hamshaw and Weston) and missing our leader at the back - Johno.

Notts created a couple of chances in the first half. A Edwards header from a corner and Forte striking over from inside the box. 0-0 at half time and it was looking okay.

2 minutes into the second half and Wycombe took the lead and then wrapped up the win from a free-kick.

Notts drop a place to 17th. 19 points from the drop zone.

Notts need to get their confidence back quickly. The match on Sunday is huge. If Notts could get a decent draw (any Prem team , Forest , Derby) and get some much needed money in the coffers then perhaps could get a decent midfielder in.

But before we even contemplate who we want we need to beat non-league Kettering , who have Christie (Ex Stag) and Guy Branston at the back. It should be an interesting day.

If Notts lose fans will be starting for the manager to be sacked. Typical Notts fans. Change is not good , but if Charlie contiues this form then there might be no other option.

Personally I am giving him to Xmas.
