I will try and keep upto date on all Notts County news , on and off the pitch aswell as adding pictures and videos from this season.

Hopefully this year won't be as depressing as the last - where the Magpies escaped the drop by 6 points.

Manager Charlie McParland has had to clear the deadwood (once again) and re-build a squad which should be challenging for the Playoffs.

My personal prediction is a respectable mid table finish.

Magpies fly to Europe for Pre-Season tour.

Notts jetted off to Austria on Saturday for two pre-season matches. They will first face Slovakian second division team Olympia Ljubljana on Monday and then German side Wacker Burghausen on Wednesday.

The Squad left behind Mike Edwards , who is expecting the birth of his second child and Stephen Hunt who had an operation last week.

Nineteen players will travel include three trialists. Strikers Ben Fairclough and Greg Pearson will be joined by Gedling Town midfielder Matt Richards - hopefully better than the last Gedling player - "Super" Steve Scoffham.
