I will try and keep upto date on all Notts County news , on and off the pitch aswell as adding pictures and videos from this season.

Hopefully this year won't be as depressing as the last - where the Magpies escaped the drop by 6 points.

Manager Charlie McParland has had to clear the deadwood (once again) and re-build a squad which should be challenging for the Playoffs.

My personal prediction is a respectable mid table finish.

Notts start with a win !!

Notts County started their pre-season with a 2-1 victory against

Charlie has said he is still looking for one or two attackers. With a whole host of names being banded around including former Stag Micky Boulding and Gillingham striker Delroy Facey.

However I personally believe McParland will bring in either Adam Rooney (from Stoke) probably on loan OR former Bradford City striker Guylain Ndumbu-Nsungu. This is only a hunch , with Charlie previously stating he was interested in Rooney last year.

I believe a "target man" such a Guylain would really compliment the experience of Forrester and the youth of Weir-Daley. It is up to Greg Pearson to impress to become the 4th striker in the squad , starting against German side Wacker Burghausen on Wednesday.
