I will try and keep upto date on all Notts County news , on and off the pitch aswell as adding pictures and videos from this season.

Hopefully this year won't be as depressing as the last - where the Magpies escaped the drop by 6 points.

Manager Charlie McParland has had to clear the deadwood (once again) and re-build a squad which should be challenging for the Playoffs.

My personal prediction is a respectable mid table finish.

Magpies unbeaten in Europe !!

The Magpies came from behind to win their second and last game in Austria 4-1 against German side Wacker Burghausen. Jamie Forrester scored a brace , trialist Greg Pearson knocked in one and an own goal completed the rout.

Played 2 won 2 in Europe , okay lets not go over the top , it was against two pub teams from central Europe , but Notts scored FOUR goals ! When did that last happen ?! (Jan 20th 2007 against Torquay in the league)

And two strikers got on the scoresheet ?!

Obviously we know the true test will be against Stoke and F*rest at Meadow Lane , but its all good to build the confidence in the squad.

I am out of the country for a week - so hopefully on my return Charlie will have added to the squad with even more firepower !
